Through the documentation of a window in my kitchen over 24 hours, two worlds are revealed. An image was taken each hour, capturing the transformation of the window’s surface from a threshold onto the outside world into a mirror reflecting the interior. This shift is particularly evident in the diptych, which contrasts the window during the day and evening. The mirrors translate this idea into a physical reconstruction of the kitchen window, simultaneously reflecting its surroundings while suggesting a portal that could be walked through.
