During my internship at MORE Architecture under Daan Rogeveen, I played a key role in designing an urban planning proposal for Tarwewijk, Rotterdam. This area, situated near the newly developed Katendrecht across the water, faced challenges with low-activity lots and substandard housing in need of revitalization.

Our masterplan centered on refined inner-city densification and the integration of mixed-use programs. We explored various massing configurations, programmatic combinations, and infrastructural enhancements, such as bridges and parks, to rejuvenate the neighborhood and improve its connectivity and urban atmosphere.
